Enabling You to Achieve BNG

BNG requirements can be achieved on-site, off-site, or through the purchase of statutory credits following the Biodiversity Gain Hierarchy. 

In our experience, on-site BNG provisions can be complex and are not always a realistic way of achieving Biodiversity Gains of the right type. Purchasing off-site units can be key to ensuring legal compliance, facilitating timely development progression and securing long-term financial gains. 

By working with a trusted landowner with BNG units available: 

  • Your site design can be realistic in creating spaces for people and nature to enjoy

  • Your BNG requirements can be fulfilled off-site and left in the hands of experts to deliver

We also offer Brokering services for Nutrient Credits, allowing your development to achieve Nutrient Neutrality.

Begin by providing us with the relevant information for us to begin searching for your ideal offsite unit provider

2 - Seller Selection

Within a week, we will provide you with a curated selection of up to 3 potential, trusted sellers with relevant and purchasable units.

3 - Connect and Purchase

Once you confirm which provider to use, we will connect you to them, enabling you to purchase your desired, real, and trustworthy units.

For Landowners:

1 - Reach Out

Begin by providing us with the relevant information for us to begin the process of adding your Site to our database of trusted and vetted Habitat Banks.

2 - Database

Once the required information has been confirmed, we will add your Habitat Bank to our database and start finding clients for you.

3 - Connect and Sale

Once a developer selects your Habitat Bank to purchase units from, we will connect you to enable the sale of your units.

I’m a developer, what if you can’t find a landowner with my units?
  • We are experts in navigating environmental legislation and facilitating development goals.
  • So, if we can’t find units to suit your needs, we will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your alternative options, based on your budget, requirements and timescales. For example, statutory credits.
I’m a landowner, how do I list my land?
  • If you’re still in the early stages of biodiversity unit creation and are yet to list your land, it may be too soon for you to engage with a brokerage service, but we can advise you
